www.October is here & after quite some juggling . . . . . . .
we managed to rearrange our usual date for walking so more than 3 of us could join! Nevertheless we were still a small group which is always nice, beginning at Rosa's for a delicious lunch of home made soup & organic bread. . fab pudding and seriously full tummies. It was unusual to walk in the afternoon, rather than the morning. . in hindsight I think a.m. walks are preferable. . no rush against dimming light & running out of time. I had to be back at 4.00 and the walk was estimated to take at least 2/3hrs. so I opted to walk for 3/4hr - turn and go back the way I came save getting lost. . . . . . On my lonely return (well me & my camera of course which stopped me in my tracks at every turn because the colours were so stunning) I was graced by a fleeting visit of three delightful DEER which galloped across my path & dissapeared up into the woods before either me or my camera could take stock. . . (some wobbly footage of this attempt!) This is the very first time I have seen this small Deer, wild in the woods here. I bow to their gentle shyness. It drizzled throughout the walk creating a blurred misty look on most of these photos adding to the moist atmosphere of this glorious walk.
Expression is my passion - I just can't help it! Sharing is another thing altogether, but one which is essential for me to enter into. To really experience a sense of wholeness I need to step into connection, community, giving and taking in equal measure. To learn from everything in my world. All I glance upon, hear and communicate with, has something to share with me. I would love you to be a part of that too. Feel free to add your comments and expressions in whatever form they may come. My face book page also offers that opportunity to contribute.
